This is not a proper recap, just an incoherent string of impressions.

I was really worried there for about a week. I wouldn't  have put it past RDM to kill off the Old Man and Tigh. But thankfully, the grenade just knocked them out. Yay! 
And just to get it out of the way: The Old Man and Tigh are probably the coolest bad-ass mofos in the galaxy. Last stand, Adama-Tigh-style. Yay. Unfortunately, it doesn't take very long. Oh, and I've said it before, but Gaeta *must* die.

I love Balthar 2.0. Ever since he stopped looking like a crazed Jesus doppelganger, I can concentrate on and appreciate his acerbic humour XD He's hilarious!

The Old Man squaring off against Gaeta in CIC - fantastic. Good thing the old man has better manners than me, so instead of punching Gaeta's lights out, he simply tells him "I care too much for this ship to let it be overrun by rats." I love Adama. I really do.

Oh, and is Romo Lampkin the *only* lawyer in this fleet??? Adama telling Gaeta "Shove it up your ass" might turn out to be my favourite BSG line ever. Oh, and I'm sure Gaeta has done more than his fair share of shoving things up his arse in the past.

For those of us who weren't already convinced of Zarek being a complete c*nt, he has the whole quorum shot. Admittedly, I might not always be happy with politicians, but that seems a bit extreme, if you ask me. The only quorum member I feel bad for is the hot doctor from the L Word, but that can't be helped now...

Meanwhile - back on the base ship: The look on Roslin's face when the cylons tell her they've decided to jump away and leave Adama on Pegasus - priceless. I still suspect it's all an elaborate plan of Tory's, coz she wants to shag Roslin. Badly. Mme. President is having none of that, though, and gives a rousing speech standing up for her man. True love. *sighs*.

Lee and Kara: The next time John Woo is directing a movie, do me a favour and audition for it. I love them. With Lee still in his smart trousers and shirt, I'm half expecting him to go "Bond, James Bond" but he doesn't.

Adama and the firing squad - fuck. I'm biting my nails, but OMG it was only a Balthar vision. Why is he having visions??? Am confused.
Bill+Saul = true man love.

Chief disabling the FTL - ftw. Mayhem ensues!! Bill and Laura reunion has me choking. Must be their theme, I love Bear McCreary.

Okay, and what's that with Balthar + Gaeta getting all teary-eyed together? Wtf? Not getting it.
Who cares, my dream comes true - even though I don't believe in death penalty, I'm so happy Adama has the balls to give Gaeta+Zarek what they deserve. Bastards. Getting shot is not what I had planned for Gaeta (my plan involved him getting half stuck in the airlock's hatch and the other half getting sucked out into space, but I'm sure SciFi didn't want to up the rating because of me.) but I have to admit it was rather satisfactory.

So there. And next week, the return of Ellen? Oh no.

I picked the Asa special dvd box up from customs today - *cries with joy*!!
Always makes for a brilliant experience, customs....Every time I get there, I feel as if I'd been accidentally transported back in time. Those of you who've seen "Life on Mars" and/or "Ashes to Ashes" will know what I'm talking about XD.
It is a rather nostalgic experience... tons of people sitting around in 70s style offices, having apparently bugger all to do except eat breakfast. But hey, at least they are a friendly bunch.
And to top it off, the following conversation took place:
Friendly Female Customs Official (FFCO): "So - what's in there?"
Me: "Asa pr0n DVDs."
FFCO upon seeing contents of parcel: "Oh. Who's that? He looks really handsome!"
Me: "Uhm. Oh yeah. She's a japanese artist"
FFCO: "Oh. Are you sure that's a woman?"
Me: "Yes. Positive."
FFCO: gives me scared weird look.

LOL.

The box looks really nice, and comes with eight smallish posters. I've tried taking photos of the best ones, but couldn't use a flash since the paper is all weird and reflecting it way too much. So they might be a bit dark but hey.
